My name is Sharlene and I handmake everything here!
I love! to crochet! and have a very ecclectic taste in all things so it’s no surprise I like working with the Boho style.
I’m a semi retired, self proclaimed ‘cool nanny’ to 3 wonderful grandchildren who I also love to create things for from practical beanies, blankets and clothes to awesome amigurumi toys of all kinds.
My own nanna taught me the basics of crochet as child and over the years I’ve attempted and perfected many advanced techniques, however, sometimes keeping it simple with beautiful colours and yarn types produces the most amazing items.
I love the process of creating something from nothing focussing on wearable, modern garments and accessories made from both natural fibres (my favourite) and others, with true indie spirit.
I also enjoy other handcrafts and creative pursuits like sewing, beading, chainmail, cross stitch, attempting art in different mediums for fun and trying my hand at photography during travels.
Musically I like listening to folk/indie/hiphop/bluegrass/techno/ (especially fusions of these) while crafting to my heart’s content.
